Maison Barnard is a private residence in Savannah's Starland District, hosting intimate overnight stays and private events, weddings, dinner parties, gatherings. We positioned it not as a hospitality brand but as "a house of gathering," rooted in Savannah's arts and neighborhood culture, with a multicultural, old-soul, hedonistic, and romantic sensibility. We built the brand around Monsieur Bernie, a fictional host and collector who serves as the voice and face of the house. Mr Bernie is theatrical, poetic, contemplative, wistful. The house is meant to feel like he lives in it, and lets guests discover the house and Savannah through him. This reframes Maison Barnard as a place with its own mythology rather than a product.
